| Just a few years ago, Tony Pierce ran his own website (www.tonypierce.com) just like any other person yearning for their own piece of cyberspace. Not much happened. But then he converted his site into a blog -- and now he gets fame, fortune, and girls on a regular basis. How did he do it, and can you do it to? The answers are contained within his new self-published book, How to Blog, in which he not only offers tips on blogging but also shows examples of them.

| Although Slashdot brought new levels of interactivity in digesting tech news, its items are still filtered through an editor who picks which ones to be featured on the site. Kevin R. reported on two news sites that are completely user-driven:
Digg.com allows people to link stories to the site, where users then give them “dig” points. If the story gets enough “digs,” then it goes to the homepage. Also, Digg.com lets you keep track of the stories you or your friends have been “digging.” For instance, here’s what Kevin R. has been digging at Digg.com. | Using EA Sports NCAA Football 2005 on the Xbox, G4 Sports is simulating a virtual college football tournament featuring the six undefeated teams from Division 1-A and 1-AA and the two remaining top-5 BCS teams.
