Dan's tip: iTunes dead air
Some music CDs have secret music tracks at the end of a CD. CD players see the songs as extremely long tracks of mostly dead air, sometimes as long as 30 minutes. Here's how to cut the dead air out.

  1. First, find out the actual length of the song with the extra dead air and write it down.
  2. In iTunes, right-click the song and select Get Info.
  3. Click the Options tag.
  4. Under Stop Time, enter the time for the song.
