Breehn Burns

Breehn Burns is the writer and director of such animated short films as Here Comes Dr. Tran, Roybertito's :60 Second Spot and Beyond Grandpa 1 and 2. He is also a concept artist for film and illustrator of Aleister Arcane, a horror comic by Steve Niles as well as several issues of GloomCookie, among other projects.

Burns' films have appeared at Sundance, Annecy, Slamdance and Spike & Mike's Festival of Animation, and have received widespread acclaim from fans and critics. The ASIFA East award winning short, Beyond Grandpa II, also toured with Korn concerts around America. Aside from writing and animating the films, he serves as voice actor for many of the characters.

Burns lives in Los Angeles and his name sounds like BREE-yin.

Jason Johnson

Jason Johnson is the voice of our character, DR. TRAN, and worked as a ‘puppet wrangler’ and general puppeteer on Comedy Central’s T.V. Funhouse. Johnson currently plays accordion, saxophone, piano and flute, writes poetry, is a certified massage therapist and works at a Borders book store. He and Breehn created Beyond Grandpa first as an absurd card game, which eventually led to the animated films. The two continue to write and produce projects whenever schedules permit.
