Here is how to really amp up a computer entertainment system, get a good receiver, one capable of Dolby PL II Movie and game synthesis and one of the following pairs of front channels.

If you can find them in good condition, the Quartet is a great center channel for either pair of front channels (Cornwall II's and Forte II's).

If you can't find a good pair used try these:

and for a center channel, get one of these, you will never need to buy speakers again.

The crossovers need reconditioning every 10 years, change the capacitors, autotransformers. Diaphragms for the sqwakers and tweeters are cheap enough to replace every 10 years of more, I went with titanium last year, so I'm good for at least 15 years. The link below provides all you will need at that 10 year mark. Pretty cool, considering my monitor has to go this year (three years) and my speakers...good for another 10 years at least.

For a good PC you spend a lot of money and every three years you need a new one, good speakers last forever, and the Klipsch Heritage products are still hand built in Hope, Arkansas. My Forte II's are 11 years old and sound as good as the day I bought them, My Cornwalls II's are over 15 years old and are still amazing. Monitors, again, every two or three years you need another one.

You're playing a game based on the oldest of old school technologies, rifles, grenades and hand to hand combat. To really get the direction of fire and feel those explosions, go with the real deal, although the Klipsch Promedia 2.1 has won PC Gamer awards forever.

Rogue Warrior was inspired by one of the greatest spec warriors for those of us who are also spec warriors. Many complain the game is too hard, but hey, spec warfare isn't for everyone. Truth is, you leave a flank open, bad guys are going to come in and give you a 7.62 mm enema.

To date I have seen one walkthrough of Rogue Warrior at recruit level, and the person was an idiot (calling the lack of a jump button "gay" - stupid kid).

My 23 years in the SEAL Teams and SBT's and SWCC qualifies me to evaluate shooters, and this is really a darn good one, leave a flank open and you will die, fail to move forward and drive the enemy will guarantee a grenade in your diet, very soon.

My gaming started after I retired from the Navy, I started with the SOCOM games on the PS2 and as my PC got more and more powerfull and Microsoft started to standardize on the Xbox Controller for the PC, I was locked.

My Intel Quad Core and Nvidia 9600 GT are doing what they are made to do. The CPU cooler was not a waste of money. That Soundblaster X-Fi titanium connects to my receiver via SPDIF, so my computer stereo is two Klipsh Cornwalls and a Klipsch Quartet Center channel in one room, two Klipsch Forte II's and a Klipsch Quartet center channel in my main game room. Forget toy game speakers, I have real floor standing, high output high fidelity speakers, from a time when sound, not size dictated choice. At 119 db continous output from 30 hz to 20 khz, the shots and explosions have almost real physical sensation.

I still remember what it was like to fight when Presidents wanted to win, I served proudly and Dick Marcinko is part of the reason our Naval Special Warfare units are the best in the world. Although we never worked together, he is known as a real visionary, his game, well, it can be crude, frustrating and challenging, just like warfare.
