Game Description:Adapted from the Universal Combat franchise, Hostile Intent - Planetfall boils down the expansive space exploration of UC into an intense action game. Players can engage in combat in both open-space and planetary surface encounters, exploring the galaxy in interstellar and planetary excursions and taking on opponents in first-person shooting and vehicular combat phases. Players can also upgrade their characters through skill-based upgrades as they continue to conquer. Hostile Intent runs in part on the Reality Engine and SpeedTree RT technology engines.
Hostile Intent morphed several times in its development, with the original concept of a game based on the Universal Combat franchise titled Universal Combat - Edge to Edge. In development as Hostile Intent - Planetfall, the game later evolved to become part of the Galactic Command franchise. Gamers will never see Hostile Intent under its original title or concept, but everything that went into creating Hostile Intent (and much more) is now part of the Galactic Command franchise project.
