    XCOM: Enemy Unknown is a brilliant return to the series, with beautiful graphics and hours of missions. It mixes the best of management simulations and turn-based tactics for the perfect blend of action and planning. It's a great entry point for players new to the genre, especially on consoles.

    Dishonored delivers on almost every admirably/crazily ambitious promise made by its creators. Its impeccably crafted gameplay and exquisitely haunting and detailed world stand in loving tribute to all of the iconic and acclaimed franchises that inspired it, and yet it still has a soul and style all its own.

    This year's FIFA offering by EA Canada sensibly addresses the minor issues from an otherwise excellent FIFA Soccer 12. There are new modes like Match Day and control tweaks like First Touch that many longtime fans will appreciate.
