Where THQ's Smackdown vs. RAW franchise has always been about a totally immersive WWE wrestling experience, both backstage and in the ring, they've decided to go a completely different way with WWE All-Stars, a game that is a simplified, completely over-the-top wrestling experience. Think SDVR meets NFL Blitz, and you're most of the way there.
In WWE All-Stars yesterday's legends collide with today's stars, and here Adam Sessler and THQ Creative Dir. Sal DiVita go hands-on with the fast-paced button responsiveness and 4 fighter types: acrobat, brawler, grappler, and big man.
WWE All Stars was shown off at a recent THQ event, and Blair Herter was able to catch up with Sr. Designer Dave Friedland and wrestlers Sheamus, The Big Show, Kofi Kingston, and Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat on all the upcoming over-the-top action.
We go hands-on pitting the oldies and goodies of the WWE against each other in a few epic matches.
