Mirror's Edge Latest News - PS3

Game Description:In Mirror's Edge, you might do more damage to your enemies if you run away. You'll play as Faith, a "runner" in a dizzying cityscape where you'll face enemies, experience chases, and solve puzzles in a revolutionary first-person shooter without the shooter. The game's world challenges you to pull off stunts only possible when normal physics don't apply. Run up walls, spin in mid-air, swing off pipes, roll into landings, and more. Build up runner vision, then use it to slow things down and take out enemies. Or use the power to uncover unseen, seemingly impossible escape routes...that are yours for the taking.

  • EA On Why Saboteur, Dragon Age Isn't This Year's Dead Space, Mirror's Edge

Dead Space and Mirror's Edge were poised as massive, blockbuster new franchises for Electronic Arts last year, but while both were mostly critical successes (though Mirror's Edge nicely divided people), neither were the multi-million sellers they'd been pegged as. During the Pacific Crest 11th Annual Technology Leadership Forum, EA CFO Eric...

  • EA Says "Small Team" Working On Mirror's Edge 2

There’s little doubt that DICE’s first-person action platformer Mirror’s Edge had all the makings of a killer new IP: great style, compelling design, unique first-person acrobatics, etc. And yet, despite its gorgeous presentation (and thanks to some less than stellar gunplay mechanics and it’s brief length), the game...

  • Electronic Arts Believes Mirror's Edge Suffered From Lack Of Multiplayer

When I finished Mirror's Edge, my first reaction definitely was not: hey, this needs multiplayer. But as evidenced by the addition of multiplayer components to popular single-player games like Uncharted and BioShock in their respective sequels, clearly that's a common concept amongst game companies. Mirror's Edge may receive the same treatment...
