Game Description:Set in the realm of brutal Greek mythology, God of War III allows players to take on the climatic role of the ex-Spartan warrior, Kratos, as he scales through the intimidating heights of Mt. Olympus and the dark depths of Hell to seek revenge on those who have betrayed him. Armed with double-chained blades, and an array of new weapons and magic for this iteration of the trilogy, Kratos must take on mythology’s darkest creatures while solving intricate puzzles throughout his merciless quest to destroy Olympus.

'God of War III' Art Director Ken Feldman Interview: Epic Scale Artistry

We've all experienced games with exceptional gameplay, or illuminating visuals and art design. But when these elements occur perfectly in the same game ,we start speaking of GOTY awards and "best ____ game of all time..." Sony's God of War III looks to have an epic amount of next-gen mythological gameplay. This begs the question of how to address the daunting task of matching that element with god-like visuals for the series finale.

X-Play's Adam Sessler finds out what it takes to bring the world of violent Greek mythology to life as he goes one-on-one with God of War III Art Director Ken Feldman.

Spoiler: "...I want to show Kratos as a speck on top of this massive Titan... I don't want that camera to go through trees, I don't want any camera cuts, I don't want to have to pre-render this, I want all this to happen in real time..."
