  • Unlimited creation points

    Create a player, then go to "Edit Player" at the roster screen. Push Up or Down to choose the player you want to edit. Push Right to get to the speed category. Push X, then Push X again.

  • Do the Lambeau leap

    Unlock the Green Bay Packers at home and run a touchdown. The players will eventually do the Lambeau Leap.

  • Madden cards

    If you get all 296 cards the 297th card will be John Madden. The John Madden card (297) unlocks the Madden Millennium Team. This team touts the top players in football history.

  • Madden cards

    You will find three different cards, gold, silver, and bronze. Some cards will unlock stadiums, extra players (retired), and more teams. The rest of the cards will enable cheats.   • All-Madden difficulty setting

    On the All-Madden difficulty, the CPU intercepts passes very easily. To avoid getting your passes tipped or picked off, throw short passes and pop passes (passes that are thrown almost suddenly after the ball is hiked). Long (Da Bomb) passes will only work occasionally, but will usually get picked off.

  • Always win coin toss

    Push Start before anything appears on the coin toss screen.

  • Locker room entrance

    When your opponent is kicking a field goal, select a player and run back to the wall and into the locker room entrance.

  • Madden Card effects
