Game Description:Taking place before the events of the original 8-bit and arcade versions of the popular franchise, Ninja Gaiden tells the story of the famed martial artist Ryu Hayabusa as he sets out on his quest for revenge against the Vigor Empire for massacring his village. Features include state of the art visuals, context-sensitive object interaction, and the ability to use the environments as part of the player's attack. Unfortunately for PlayStation 2 users, the decision to move production exclusively to Microsoft's Xbox was made not too long after Tecmo had confirmed that development on the game had started for the PlayStation 2.
