Game Description:Battlefields! Combined Arms Land Operations in World War II is a 1km hex-based battalion simulation of World War II combat that puts the wargamer in the role of the operational commander. Battlefields! uses actual minutes and hours to track time and coordinate orders. You tell your combat and support units when to jump off and how to coordinate their plans, then simultaneous execution determines how your plan survives contact with the enemy. An advanced design that includes modeling of intelligence, air reconnaissance, battlefield friction as well as conditional and reserve orders makes for an exciting and tense battlefield expereince.
