  • Ace Attorney Movie Release Plans Include Worldwide Release

I don't know about you all, but I've been keeping a close eye on Takashi Miike's film adaptation of Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney. Miike is probably best known by gamer-folk for his work on deeply disturbing thriller/horrors like Audition and Ichi the Killer, but he's always had a soft spot for lighter fare as well. His game adaptation, titled...

You really don't need much editorializing here. Takashi Miike, director of such stomach-turning modern classics as Ichi the Killer and Audition, is working on a big screen adaptation of Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney. Totally bizarre, I know. Capcom has released the first image from the movie's courtroom set on its website (via Andriasang), which...

I love Japan. Not only has the island nation produced an all-female stage musical extravaganza based on DS game Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, but the show was so successful that a sequel is on the way.
