Company Description: Microsoft Game Studios is a branch owned by Microsoft introduced in 2002 to correspond with the company’s video game publishing division. Games published under this label are generally released exclusively for the Windows and/or Xbox 360 platforms, regardless of developer party. First and third party affiliate studios include 343 Industries, a studio set up to develop future Halo related products, Epic Games (Gears of War series), and Lionhead Studios (Fable series).
