Company Description: Level-5 is a video game publisher and developer located in Fukuoka, Japan. Founded in 1998 by Akihiro Hino, the publisher employs around 200 people. Sony has given Level-5 both funding and production assistance. In 2007, Level-5 released Professor Layton and the Curious Village for the Nintendo DS; since this, the company has produced more games for Nintendo's mobile platforms. It has also begun funding and publishing more of its titles in Japan.
