Company Description: High Moon Studios is a California-based subsidiary of Activision Blizzard. The company was originally known as Sammy Entertainment and served as a subsidiary of Sammy Corporation. In 2002 Sammy Entertainment changed its name to Sammy Studios. On March 7, 2005, the company became an independent developer and changed its name to High Moon Studios. High Moon Studios was purchased by Vivendi in 2006; due to a merger between Activision and Vivendi in 2008, High Moon then became a subsidiary of Activison Blizzard.
