Company Description: Grasshopper Manufacture is a Japanese video game developer. The company was founded in 1998 and is led by Goicha Suda, also known as Suda51. Suda51 is a pun on his name; in Japanese "Go" means 5 and "ichi" means 1. Grasshopper also created and released Killer7, an action-adventure title for Gamecube and PS2, and No More Heroes, a title released for the Wii. In addition to designing and developing video games, Grasshopper Manufacture specializes in planning and producing books, films, magazines, and movies.
