Company Description: Abandon Interactive Entertainment is a video game developer. The company gave funding assistance to Mythic Entertainment, a game developer based in Fairfax, Virginia, and was the largest of Mythic's shareholders before EA purchased it in 2006. Abandon also cofounded Collision Entertainment, a film development company, with producer Scott Faye. A subsidiary of Abandon, Abandon Mobile, produces games for mobile phone platforms. The subsidiary has a worldwide partnership with NBC which allows it to create NBC Sports games for mobile platforms. Abandon also created Freaky Creatures, a massively multiplayer online game for PC, Mac OSX, and mobile platforms.
