FORMULA D HOST BIO

Born and raised in Minnesota, Brandon began his performing at the ripe old age of 9 years young.  His first school play is where the rush of being on stage began.  Little did he know that this would become the platform upon where his performing arts would grow.  When he wasn’t being a class clown one could find him in detention creating characters to pass the time.  Soon other interests began to blossom such as playing sports: hockey, baseball, soccer, football, skateboarding, snowboarding and his other passion, playing the drums.  He even followed his older band mates to the University of Wisconsin with hopes of continuing their music.  Upon arrival Brandon needed to choose a major and theatre seem like the proper choice.  Over the next few years he acted, directed, designed and managed theatre.

Graduating from the University of Wisconsin with a BFA in Comprehensive Theatre, Brandon set his sights on New York City.  There he studied under the likes of Allen Savage, Anthony Abeson and Denny Albee at The Theatre of American Actors.  His first couple years consisted of waiting tables and every odd job one could think of in order to pursue his craft.

Once acquiring representation Brandon was off to the races and his resume grew.  While in NYC he worked on ABC’s One Life To Live as the recurring character Dr. Michael McBain, as well day player roles on The Guiding Light and As The World Turns.  His other television credits include work on Discovery Channel’s Blood Red, the lead host of three shows: FOX Soccer Channel’s FOX Soccer USA, WYNE 25’s Cool In Your Code (7 NY Emmy Nominations) and the extreme motocross show Rally America on the Outdoor Life Network.  Brandon has worked in over 25 commercials-his favorite being the Nokia 20 Lives Campaign where he created the character Phil Blitz. The campaign aired throughout 29 countries in various languages.

Brandon has also been lucky to work with some of the industries most talented film actors.  His credits include The Notorious Bettie Page (Gretchen Mol, Lili Taylor) the dark comedy, Rick (Bill Pullman and Aaron Stanford); lead roles in the newly released horror film Malevolence and the political drama, Invisible Evidence, shot entirely on location in Guatemala.  Lastly, his new horror movie, Little Erin Merryweather will be released this coming Fall.

In January of 2006, Brandon moved to Los Angeles where he booked a guest starring role as Brian Winters for the highly successful Disney show, Hannah Montana.  Weeks later G4tv called and decided to give the kid shot!  Brandon couldn’t be happier with his new home and looks forward a wonderful season on Formula D.  Drift On!!!
