FORMULA D CO-HOST INTERVIEW

As a young boy, my fascination with speed began with racing video games and The Dukes of Hazzard. When I turned 16 my Dad and I rebuilt the engine on an old, red, beat-up 71’ Cutlass Supreme. Little did I know of the power that lay dormant under the hood. Soon I discovered what a V8 350 Rocket engine could do! Over the next two months I went through a couple pairs of brake pads from doing “Brake Stands” at every opportunity I got. We called this motorized beast, “The Gravedigger.” I spent most of my time doing stunts with the vehicle way before shows like Jackass or Bam’s World graced the cable airwaves. To this day there is only one VHS taping left of our last night out. Unfortunately, we didn’t get paid for it. I was always easy to find. All one had to do was look for the grey cloud of smoke, hear the screeching tires and smell the burnt rubber. Therefore, hosting a drifting show seemed like a perfect fit. The need for speed and extreme living was already in my DNA. If I’m not living on the edge, I not living close enough…and I got the scars to prove it.
