It's the first event of the 2006 Need for Speed Formula Drift points series! This year, Formula D has increased their number of events in the series and has added two new venues including the one for the kick off of the season, the Streets of Long Beach! Run on a portion of the same course driven by the Long Beach Grand Prix, this will be one of the narrowest drift courses the competitors will face this season. Rhys Millen is back to defend his championship from last year, but he faces stiff competition from the likes of Ken Gushi, Sam Hubinette and Calvin Wan.
