Not letting me reply to individual comments, so...

No problemo, April! Glad to see posting finally works for you.

In addition to the armor, April also has cosplays for Kid, Sheik, and the Lurker, and is working on Tali for later this year.

April here: Sorry for talking a lot about Halo. I just got done with the Reach Beta and it was all I was thinking about. If not for that, I would have spoke more about my love of Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross. I've played through and beaten each of those games at least 20 times. I even cried when they brought Chrono Trigger to the DS.
Other than FPS's, I love RPG's and platformers. All the zelda titles, Half-life 1+2 plus related episodes, the good side-scrolling Sonic the Hedgehog (none of that 3-d stuff), Ratchet and Clank Series, Jak and Daxter Series, Mass Effect 1+2, Oblivion... the list goes on and on.

As for my liking of Halo so much, as asked by someone above: I love the idea of playing a faceless hero who I could easily become, and the character design was amazing. The game just flowed really well.

Big thanks to Kat for the helping me out.

She's one of the hottest, and is one of the most into video games. A really strong contender. But we don't want to hear about your goal to make connections at the convention.

Also, April is having trouble posting replies on this thread, so I'm kind of here to relay messages and whatnot. Best friend duty!

@Bollocks_2_ya: She does not have a speech impediment. Promise. We have no idea why she sounds lispy in this video.

No, the helmet is not someone else's. April and I both spent three months and a lot of money making two full suits of armor following the guidelines on the 405th, and won 2nd place at the 2009 A-kon cosplay competition (a skit won 1st place). She loves FPSes, and genuinely loves Halo, so in this one minute that's what she talked about. Don't be fooled, though: she's a solid, well-rounded gamer who, if given more video time or, say, a ticket to E3, could knock your socks off with her knowledge of gaming.

    Good luck April!

Not bad. Solid submission. Your head is big enough (no offense meant) where you could fake it and use the Legendary helmet. It's entirely possible that it's someone else's helmet, but I'm not gonna hate too much. I'd like to actually hear you discuss why you like halo so much if you're gonna pretty much exclusively talk about halo. That's probably gonna hurt you (and all of these other girls) that you seem so focused on FPSses because you think that's all we want to hear about.

Alright! Go April! (She rules, she's really friendly and an awesome person who's wonderful to work with. She should be the next boothebabe!)

A near perfect body... er... presentation. While the presentation was nearly perfect and great, you sitll did not convince me of your video game love. You need to impress me with some intimate knowledge or quirk/storyline that is not so... "main stream." Dont pick the most popular game and assume we all will like you because you have a halo headgear - that is so... 2008, no offense. I almost selected you, but... your very very close to the top of my list. If you want to date or marry me though...

    Go April, hope you win.
