noone watcing is really their audience...I bet they'll make money off of it but none of the new games look fun except for maybe wii lightsabers...

I Own All 3 Systems. And I Have To Say I Was A Fan Of Xbox, But Not The Overrated Games Like Halo And Gears. But I Just Always Liked it Better, Until MGS4 Killed Everything. And So Nintendos Press Conference Put Me To Sleep, But The Wii Music Seemed Cool And I May Get It. But Xbox Was Good, No MGS4, Xbox Definitely Wont Be Running It. So My Point Is, Sony Just Punched Everyone In The Face With Their Press Conference. This Is The Year Of The PS3!!!

Oh Yeah, Sony Didnt Need Shaun White Or Duffy To Rule All.

good way to cover their core customers with the Resort and music, absolutely hated how they talked about HEY remember our good games, like Metroid, Mario (made me mad, yeah Zelda was good lets not forget.) oh yeah um no news on those fronts, but we'll keep making tie-ins at least sluggers strikers golf. yeah WII SPEAK better work with brawl and mario kart or i might just give my wii to my parents who are already clocking in 20 hours of play time on wii fit alone

i am a proud wii, and ps3 owner and was highly upset while watching this load of BS. I am not really a fan boy of any company but i expected bigger things out of nintendo. way bigger things.I watched the 360 press confrence and was very impressed with the games they displayed, and was anxious to see nintendos next.I had to rewind it (bright house owns) because a over joyed woman put me to sleepwith er mothers shouldnt snowboard speech in the first 10 miniutes.so i then rewind the show watch it and was pretty upset that nintendo's we appeal to everyone including hardcore gamers to a left turn to a little place we like to call animal town and a genaric version of COD.This was by far the worst confrence out of the three and i really cant defend them after that.
so after all of this i would like to say WTF WII And snowboarding mom

wii motion plus i'll end up getting it i'm sure, considering the money i'll save by NOT buying anything other game for a while
oh yeah by the way nintendo, i'm already upset that i have actually contemplated buying extra wii motes so i can stop switching from Guitar hero, wii zapper and wii wheel. and then back to single games, Now not only do i have to take off the stupid jacket that only idiots need, i have to unplug a toe sized attachment that better not cost me 20 bucks, will i not be able to play red steel or other old games due to a tad bit too sensitive controls now!!!

all good ideas to keep their casual gamers, or non-gamers happy, and breathing the nintendo air, i personally enjoyed how they had gameplay footage of ALL games except GTA, which they pretty much brushed over, trying to keep their kid friendly image that started with the purple lunchbox.
all i own is the wii, i'm not going to go buy another console possibly ever.
does the new call of duty have online, looks like NO=i'm not buying it.

First off, ouch. I was optimistic and was overall pleased with the conference. But come on Nintendo. WE MADE YOU! Give the hardcore something to chew. Stop filling the now over fatted casual players with games.
The Wii has what 250 titles out for it. 235 of those are for casual gamers. I know you are getting money out of it, but give us some support as we once did for you.

Second. The DS is getting pumped with steroids! Those games are fricken awesome! Good job on this side of it, but I believe the game releases should be reversed.
Hardcore on the Wii, softcore/casual ones on the more "pick up and play" system: the DS. Give us a "RE4/Gears of War" camera angled Pokemon game in which you throw pokeballs set in a world as large as Pokemon Gold. With stunning graphics like Twilight Princess, why not take advantage of it for the best Pokemon game ever. How about that for a hardcore suprise?!

there arent many games for the older gamers wii sport and wii muisc and cod 5 look ok but animal crossing starwars clonewars come on nitendo really i aso think they should have had a new mario game i now there omeing out with mario super sluggers but hey i guess we cant win them all

I actually enjoyed that. I'm a gamer that enjoys the hardcore games, as well as the more casual games. Just because you're a "hardcore" gamer, doesn't mean you ONLY have to play hardcore games.

If my kid didn't love the wii, I would sell it for more 360 games. Nintendo is apparently being run by complete idiots. WHERE IS THE HARD DRIVE. WHERE IS DOWNLOADABLE CONTENT. WTF. DS GETS GAMES AND WII DOESN'T. SO I CAN PLAY COOL GAMES ON A TINY NINTENDO, BUT NOT ON THE BIG ONE. ZELDA OR NO ZELDA, I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER NINTENDO AGAIN, AND I AM A FANBOY. SORRY NINTENDO, YOU HAVE LOST MY SUPPORT. STOP TALKING ABOUT WII SPORTS. I OWNED 2 NES, 2 SNES, 2 N64, 2 GAMECUBES, AND NOW A WII. I'M BAILING OUT.

Ditto. I only own a Wii so far, and I really don't care for any of those "wacky family fun" games. i hate to admit it, but they really let down the hardcore gamers, who kept Nintendo alive during their GameCube phase. I have Brawl, that was fun, Metroid was OK, and Galaxy was worth the cash, but a handful of games isn't enough. Now I got to go & buy an Xbox 360 for fun. I love the Wii, but they need more. No More Heroes & another RE4 remake won't cut it, no matter how good they are.

Ok as I am watching this I want to say a few things being a hardcore gamer myself.

1. Being a true gamer I felt left empty by lack of software for hardcore gamers.
2. Most of the software shown looks cute and cuddly for casual gamers.
3. Presentation (in my opinion) gets a 3 out of 10. Although I am sure presenting on such a large stage like this is quite difficult to do.
4. Reggie promised us a revolution back in the day but he gives out little attachments that we could possibly loose.
5. Animal crossing looks promising even for a hardcore gamer like myself if I have lots of time to kill for a brain-dead day.
6. If you give us GTA and war type games dont' water them down PLEASE and oh yeah multi player on line.
In total I give this conference a 4 out of 10. I expected more and was disappointed. But the week is still young.

Nintendo can no longer appeal to veteran gamers it seems. Such a waste of good talent, when all they come up with is another Animal Crossing. This may be the first real blow to the Wii. The Wii may infact be just a fad like gaming analysts predicted. The DS is here to stay obviously. But this is just too disappointing. Seems like every conference they've had since the Gamecube years have been just a massive tribute to itself and nothing more. Quit while you're ahead Nintendo.

the shaun white snowboarding game isn't wii exclusive, it's just being "altered" (completely torn apart to pretty much suck) to work on the wii. she doesn't know anything

This was more disappointing that Sony. They basically showed us games that came out, then showed us more WiiWare games as if to say, "We made these good games, so don't completely hate us for adding my adjectives to Wii." This definitely doesn't sound like a good year to only own the Wii. Also that Motion Plus add on doesn't really impress me. It just looks like an add on that is to make your WiiMote do what is does better so they can suck us for cash. Nintendo, you REALLY disappointed.

I was really looking forward to some major exclusive titles, but if the best Nintendo can come up with is animal crossing, snowboarding, and a third party title like COD5, that isn't even exclusive to the wii...then they have some problems.

I was waiting for Nintendo to bring out some big guns today... oh well maybe next year :( Kinda happy to See animal Crossing... and that Motion Plus open more doors for more games! I would like to see more sword fighting games... I just keep thinking about Red Steel! I liked that game (it could have been better).

Motion Plus is not impressive. No word on Madworld or The Conduit; just more "Wii (insert adjective here)" games. The voice chat is cool but I fear it is too little, too late. the Wii is the only console that I own so this conference made me a sad panda.
