The game has what it seems to be a really good stealth system, but they concentrate more on the detective work side of batman this time. So far there are alot of famous villains planned for the game.

the games story is heavily influence by the three arkhum graphich novels taking cues from each book, which is a treat if you read them you get something of an easter egg out of it.

the arkhum design is supposedly half open ended. as you regularly have to go the batmobile and onsite batcave in the prison. and you wont have access to all of the prison in the beginning and you can investigate places freely as you go about.

Mark Hamill is the voice of the Joker in this game, so I'm sold.

I don't like the fact that the entire game is going to take place within Arkham Asylum. Level designers must keep the environments fresh and varied or playing through the game will feel repetitive.

Lets hope the game has a kick ass stealth system.

These are the same pics from Game Informer.

@greasy_sweet1
It's NOT based on the graphic novel. Read the September issue of Game Informer for details.

I don't know how it's going to look in motion, but these shots look great. and it does certainly have a bioshock type feel.

I do hope you all know that this is based off of the comic book of the same name? So there is no need to speculate about what's going to happen...just reading the comic book. ^_^

seriously. and if i'm reading the general ratings right, and i'd like to hope that i am, what the hell does it take to impress people nowadays?

dear g4tv, please change the way you host pictures. it takes forever, and is a bit outdated.

thanks,

oh come on. they won't do anything that drastic. i think the game looks great, but my enthusiasm is held at bay by all the other batman games that were downright unplayable. i hope there is a decent roster of villians to fight.

10 bucks they kill of the Joker so they dont have to worry about who will play him in the future...
