Exclusive 'Far Cry 2' Direct-Feed Mission Gameplay #2
Posted By: Brian Leahy - Friday, September 05, 2008 2:20 PM

The mission continues as the player searches for his target in Ubisoft's Far Cry 2, a new open-world FPS for the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.

This footage was taken from the Xbox 360 version of the game at PAX 2008.

Take note of the death sequence, which maintains full immersion and gets the player back in the action with some help.

Man, that looks good. I wouldn't swim in any river in Africa though.

Looks great but I'm starting to get concerned about how much driving there's gonna be. All the videos are still emphasizing travel. I'll be ok with a decent amount, but I want more gunplay than driving.

@jargy1,

There's plenty of gunplay.

@Jargy1...

They obviously wanna advertise the fact that this is not just another FPS game, its more along the lines like GTA with an FPS Twist! (and of course miles away from the city lol)

Yea the driving will help with the pacing of the game, also they want to show off the world so they'll want to show it off. Briefcase full of diamonds in the water, kinda random?
