'Smash Bros. Melee' College Class

School season's starting up again kiddies, so imagine if this was in your schedule of classes (from Oberlin College in Ohio):

Super Smash Brothers Melee Theory and Practice 0-1 Credit

"This course will teach students the basic, intermediate and advanced combat techniques in the video game Super Smash Brothers Melee for the Nintendo Gamecube. This course will also provide in depth lectures and discussions involving many controversial issues concerning video games in our society today such as censorship, stereotyped characters, addiction, and gaming as an evolving art form."

"Gaming as an evolving art form," we like that. A lot. Sadly, we browsed through the 2008 class schedule and didn't find "Smash Bros. 101" anymore. Hey, at least you can still take Economics...right?

I think someone hacked into the school's system and put it in there. Too bad it got caught before classes actually begin.

This would have been the awesome-est class ever. Too bad my college doesn't offer this.

This story should be sent to that 16-year old kid that is quitting school so he can play Guitar Hero 24/7. If schools are teaching video game strategy now, he can learn how to fine-tune his "craft" and be the gaming expert he plans to be!

(What a waste of college tuition money)
