No Motion Control For 360
Posted By: Stephen Johnson - Monday, July 14, 2008 2:29 PM

We've spent most of today detailing the revelations that sprang from the Microsoft press conference, but the biggest announcement just didn't happen. The internets have been buzzing for weeks about the imminent release of Microsoft motion-sensing controller. Like the Wii, but for your 360. It didn't happen.

The closest Microsoft came to this piece of news was the word that the shiny microphone that comes with LIPS will include some kind of motion-sensing.

So what have we learned? You can't always believe what you read on the internet... or we've learned that Microsoft is holding off on announcing their Wii-Mote controller for a little bit.

Wake up G4, the microphone for LIPS is motion sensitive! It's not a 360 controller with (thumbasticks, triggers, buttons, or) motion capabilities, but there actually IS "Motion Control For 360"....

No big deal. What good would it do now with all all the games released. Would they go back and add the feature to all those older games?

we'll they got the Mii's and "channels" down, maybe motion controls will come later.
