In times of economic woes isn't great to hear the word FREE as much as possible?

Check out the 4 new battlegrounds released by EA yesterday for Battlefield: Bad Company (PS3, Xbox 360). Selected through the BF:BC community these babies won't cost you a penny. As you know this wily FPS has been out since June, but if you're a fan free DLC (w00t!) head on over to the PlayStation Store or Xbox Live marketplace to score your game a couple of freebies.

'Killzone 2' Helghan Trailer

In this latest trailer from SCE and Guerrilla Games' FPS sequel Killzone 2, we are reminded of the dangers of underestimating the enemy. They said it would be a walk in the park... apparently someone forgot to tell the Helghast.

Killzone 2 is currently set for a release in Februrary 2009 exclusively for the PlayStation 3.

15 years after Emergence Day the fight for survival continues in Epic Games' third-person shooter Gears of War 2 available exclusively for the Xbox 360 on November 7th.

New 'Castlevania Judgment' Screens Illuminate Trevor Belmont, Carmilla and Golem

Konami delivers unto us the latest screens for their Wii fighting game Castlevania Judgment. This batch illustrates:

- Trevor Belmont, the first vampire hunter to destroy Dracula.

- The voluptuous female vampire Carmilla, who worships Dracula.

- and Golem, "an artificial human being created by Carmilla. Perhaps due to a mutation, he awakens to self-awareness. He seeks the meaning of being alive."

...and yes we too think these three would make a great sitcom. Castlevania Judgment ships to the Nintendo Wii November 18th.

Capcom drops some new images for Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix, which is still "coming very soon" for the PS3 and Xbox 360. Detailing Chun-Li, Vega and Balrog this time around, this batch also includes artwork with magenta backgrounds for your... enjoyment?

Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix is a souped remake of the legendary classic fighting franchise featuring hand-drawn artwork by UDON and soundwork by the OC Remix crew. Developed by Backbone Entertainment and Capcom, keep your eye out for the download which will come via PSN and XBLA respectively.

'Bayonetta' Hyper-Provocative UK Trailer
