Dressing up like a Superhero

Blair Butler:

You’re a full-grown man. Yet you’ve decided to pull on colorful spandex, a floppy mask, and thigh-high boots. Does this make you a huge dork – or awesome. I say, “You, Sir, have balls.” How do I know? I can see them through your spandex. Seriously, get a codpiece. But, bottom like, I think it’s cool when people love something so much they dress up as their favorite character for big events like Comic-Con. However, if you wear it everywhere – like the woman who wore a Trek Starfleet uniform to serve on the “White Water” jury – it’s no longer cool – it’s disturbing.

I agree. If you love something so much you should do what you feel is good. But it does hurt your popularity.

If your wearing a mask no one can tell who you are. Unless its a tiny mask. But the point is if it's fun, and no one can tell who you are, who cares?

I dress up in costumes from time to time. For either Halloween, Anime Conventions & wrestling events. I think it can be fun & it also puts smiles on peoples faces. Even if it's just to laugh at you. It's all worth it.

Look, the girl in the tri-hawk is NOT dressed up. She's only herself. I taped 2 hours to see my girlfriend for less than 4 seconds? Lame!

next time spend less time on issues people actually care about and more on interviewing nobody's at booths... ok

I think dressing up like superhero is kinda cool and you might look hot doing it, but you gotta get it right or it just won't work.
