Master Chief suits up for San Diego.

July 18, 2006 - JoyRide Studios, makers of the popular line of Halo action figures, is set to make its third appearance at the San Diego Comic-Con memorable. Along with showing off its Halo line, JoyRide is selling a Con-exclusive ODST (Orbital Drop Shock Trooper). This figure is fitting for the Con, as its inspired by the newly-released Halo Graphic Novel.

Taken from the pages of Jay Faerber's "Armor Testing", the ODST variant is covered in paint. You'll have to read the story to get the reference. The special edition ODST includes an SMG and a small stationary turret and is limited to 1200 pieces. A lucky 1200 can score this exclusive figure for $20.

To get a chance at purchasing the figure, show up to JoyRide Studios' booth (#3235) in the first 90 minutes each day of the Con. You'll receive a raffle ticket for a drawing to be held at 1pm the same day. If your number is called, hand over your 20 bucks to receive your figure. Good luck!
