Cool slide show tool lets you create music videos with your digital pics.

"Call for Help" brings you the best free image viewers, file format converters, resizing tools, thumbnail viewers, tools to find and list icons hidden on your hard drive -- and you still want more. Take Michael from Pittsburg, Kansas, for example. He wrote:
Is there free software to make picture slide shows with music? I don't want to use PowerPoint.

Well, Michael of Pittsburg, Kansas, you're in luck, because today I have a freeware gem called Image Browser Artic that allows you to do everything I mentioned above, plus create musical slide shows from your digital images. Here's how it works.

  1. Launch IBA. Click Tools and Slide Show (or press Ctrl + F1). You are now in the Slide Show Editor.
  2. Click the + symbol at the top to add pictures (JPEGs or BMPs) to your slide-show queue. You should see a list of your images.
  3. To change the image title to something a little more recognizable, right-click the image, select Title, and edit the text.
  4. Use the Changing Slide Method drop-down menu on the left to choose how you want to advance the slides: Mouse Click, Automate, or Sync With Audio.
    • Mouse Click
Advance each slide with a left-click.
    • Automate
Advance each slide after a set time. To set the time, highlight an image and select a time from the Set Timer drop-down menu. Don't use the shortest time setting if you plan to use transition effects. The image will not completely reveal itself.
    • Sync With Audio
Synch slide show advancement with your MP3 music.

  5. If you want to add a transition, highlight an image and select an effect from the Transition drop-down menu.
  6. Below the main window is a button titled "More Options." Click it to select your MP3 music and author splash screen.
  7. Click Compile to create a stand-alone slide show executable.
