I caught up with Attack of the Show cohost Sarah Lane the other day to talk holidays, drinking and which DVD set will get chicks to sleep with you.

What do you want for Christmas?
I kind of want an iPod nano, even though I have a regular third generation, full-size iPod which I love, but the nano would be great to run around with and have in my pocket and stuff like that. That’s what I would want. That’s the obvious choice. I also want a new laptop, but I don’t know what kind yet. Maybe an iBook.

Do you and Kevin get each other presents for the holidays?
That’s a very good question. My original response was going to be “no.” but since you asked, I think maybe it would be appropriate, and maybe I should get him something nice. The thing is, I owe him $150 right now, so maybe if I just paid him back, that would be a pretty nice present...

Are you making any New Years resolutions?
I make the same resolutions every year. It’s always to stop drinking so much, and exercise more. The drinking so much thing, I think is going to work out now that  I’m in my later twenties. I always work out for a month or so, then I don’t any more, but I pay the gym like 70 dollars a month anyway. I do it every year, but it’s a real, genuine resolution every year when January first rolls around. So we’ll see.

Which is cooler, Kwanzaa or Ramadan?
Ooh, good one. Well, Ramadan has some history there, and Kwanzaa is relatively new as I understand. But the whole fasting during the day for a month sounds really awful. If I don’t have breakfast I’m really bumming by about 12 noon. I’m kind of a nightmare, actually, more so than usual. So, Kwanzaa.

How about a gift suggestion for your AOTS viewers?
There’s a lot of DVD box sets that I really like. Those are really good gifts. If you know someone likes Arrested Development, get them a box set since it’s soon to be off the air. If you’re a guy and you want to impress your special lady, get her the Sex and the City box set. I know that’s kind of lame, but girls love that show, and if they have every episode they will think you’re really cool and they might sleep with you.
