G4 videogame TV and Attack of the Show are looking for a few good geeks.
Whoa, slow down there, ElfLover82...we're not looking for just any geek. We need exceptional geeks. Expert geeks, if you will. Attack of the Show is looking for someone to assume the mantle of co-host—and while this doesn't necessarily mean you must have TV experience, it definitely means you should know your stuff.
Do you enjoy stumping people with your knowledge of dead or inactive X-Men members? Did you scour the internet for the first glimpse of Peter Jackson's Kong? Did you crack open your iPod and install Linux just for the hell of it? Have you spent more than eight consecutive hours playing an MMO? Well, then, you might be just what we're looking for.
Specifically, we're searching for someone between the ages of 18 and, um, young enough to still work a D-pad. We are looking for guys (sorry, girls!), and we are looking for someone who doesn't mind moving to Los Angeles, seeing as this is a full-time job. You have to be fast, funny, engaging, pleasant-looking enough to not scare more sensitive viewers, and confident.
Three lucky people, and maybe a wildcard or two, will be selected for a one-week guest hosting stint each, starting in August. Please note: We may request that you appear on the show as a guest host as soon as a week or two following your audition. This week of guest hosting will NOT BE A PAID POSITION. We will provide travel and lodging if you’re outside the Los Angeles area.
In September, a new host will be announced and their brand new G4 cubicle will be christened with Crunk Juice and packaging peanuts...
