The Last Stand, Arnold Schwarzenegger's first starring role in nearly a decade has released its first trailer.

Schwarzenegger plays a former LAPD narcotics officer who looks for peace as a sheriff in a small town on the Mexican border. Unfortunately, it looks like that peace got scared away when the leader of a Mexican drug cartel escapes from FBI custody and makes the mistake of starting trouble with the wrong Austrian-accented sheriff.
With fresh direction from up-and-coming Korean helmer, Jee-woon Kim, and co-stars like Forest Whitaker, Johnny Knoxville, and Thor's Jaimie Alexander, this looks to be a solid comeback.
The Last Stand hits theaters like a minigun out the back of a school bus on January 18, 2013.
