Return Of The Jedi Behind The Scenes Footage Surfaces

Posted June 8, 2012 - By Joseph Baxter

Some amazing behind-the-scenes footage from Return of the Jedi has made its way to the Internet after 30 years in hiding.

Taken at a 1982 shoot for the film, in which Buttercup Valley, CA served as the Pit of Carkoon, home of the mighty Sarlacc on Tatooine, you can experience this epic on-screen desert battle from an entirely different side of the Jabba's skiff.

Sit back, nerd-out, and watch things like Luke dispatching thugs, Leia in her iconic bikini aiming a gun at the deck, and **sob** the death of Boba Fett, all from a new angle.
