If you're in the demographic who's anxiously awaiting The Hobbit, but not quite sold on this Winter's The Adventures of Tintin, then your opinion may have been thrown a possible game-changer.
According to Elijah Wood, who'll be reprising his role as Frodo, the first trailer for The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey will debut on December 21 with Tintin!
In a junket interview with Digital Spy for his voice role in Happy Feet Two, Wood dropped some critical info on one of the most anticipated movie trailers ever.
According to Wood:
"I have not seen it. I have spoken to people about the trailer, I have a sense of what's going to be in it. I think it's going to be in front of Tintin when it's released in the States."
Of course, the coupling of these films would be a natural fit, since Hobbit director, Peter Jackson has been involved with Tintin as a producer, alongside director, Steven Spielberg and screenwriters, Steven (Doctor Who) Moffat, Edgar Wright, and Joe Cornish.
If this report indeed pans out, it could really give Spielberg's motion capture epic a huge boost, especially in a box-office field that seemed a bit iffy for the film.
What say you? Is The Adventures of Tintin starting to sound a bit more appealing, now?
