Garfunkel & Oates on AOTS Tonight

Tonight on Attack of the Show, comedy duo Garfunkel & Oates, known individually as Riki Lindhome and Kate Micucci, stops by the studio to talk about their new album, how they came together and how they're going to take over the music industry. Kate was featured as one of our favorite comedians on Women of the Web but we can't wait to see what she'll bring to the show with Riki!

Adam Sessler from X-Play shares his thoughts on Dragon Age 2 from the new storyline and where the game works (and doesn't) while Alison Haislip hangs out with the cast of Battle: Los Angeles. Yesterday Michelle Rodriguez talked about the apocalypse, but find out what Aaron Eckhart and the rest have to say. See you tonight at 7PM!

Disappointed with Bioware, shame of them for turning their backs on long-time RPGers who supported their games in the past. SHAME! If you go to the Bioware forums, glitches been reported like importing your character from Origins, money/XP gltich, shield glitch, etc. But instead of polishing their game, they have to focus on making Facebook game and these stupid day one DLCs just to please their overlord EA. I hope Witcher 2 and Skyrim do much better than this consolized garbage.

I am going to share my thoughts on my first hour of Dragon Age2.

I was late getting to the DA:O Party... I got it just this last December... With that I really liked DA and it's RPG Style and storytelling (although yes during the game I do sometimes skip dialog).

Anyway the biggest problem with that is that BioWare (so far) completely changes their sequels. I wasn't a fan of most of the changes in ME2 so I wasn't putting too much stock into the DA2. Then I played the Demo and... Yeah... the Combat alone turned me off as well as the Abilities Menu... I played as a Rogue my first try through the game, so maybe that's why Combat didn't agree with me (He looked like Starkiller from The Force Unleashed with his moves and jumping). I wasn't digging the entire DA2 thing. Which is why I didn't get my Signature Edition until last night and was only able to play for an hour.

Well, i decided to play as a Warrior and I must say, honestly... So far I'm liking it a lot.... Love the Dialouge Wheel, Love the Graphics, Combat isn't as Jumpy as my first Demo Play through was as a rogue (Don't know if that's because of the demo or the rogue though) and the abilities map is definitely in my opinion a better presentation then in the demo.

So all in all I'm liking the game. It took me a little bit to find my home with my 'Special Deliveries Chest' but I found it right before I logged off so I'm excited.

Usually Demos will sell me on a game (Max Payne, Modern Warfare (although it was a beta technically), and unfortunately Mafia 2 [what a regret]). But DA2 Demo really discouraged me but wow I gotta say, it's pretty awesome thus far.
