If you live in Los Angeles, keep an eye out for Olivia Munn's new billboard for PETA. She's protesting the treatment of elephants in the circus and she's doing it naked!
We're excited to see Olivia join the ranks of other animal rights activists who have gone naked for PETA, like Pamela Anderson and Eva Mendes.
Olivia...has a soft spot for animals and was shocked to learn that elephants used in circuses are torn from their mothers at birth and bound and electro-shocked as babies in order to break their spirits. They spend the rest of their lives performing silly, meaningless tricks out of constant fear of physical punishment, including beatings with bullhooks—sharp, metal-tipped implements that resemble fireplace pokers.
Let's hope she gets this very important message out there--and won't cause any major traffic jams on the corner of Wilshire Blvd and Highland Ave in Los Angeles.

I have to agree with archy2frank, Munn seems to be growing a MASSIVE celebrity ego. I started watching AOTS because of the great chemistry between Munn and Pereira, but it seems as though every day it is Kevin with a guest host. And when Olivia decides to grace the show with her presence, she isn't even engaged; she seems to be in a perpetual cycle of jet lag from her latest movie cameo or photo shoot. I realize she has a career, and I'm happy for her; but my best friend and I have started a pool to see who can guess the month she leaves the show for good.

@Tipthescales - The reason people pose naked for PETA is because of an ad campaign they did years ago with the tag line "I'd rather go naked than wear fur."
PETA is one of those orgs that has their heart in the right place, but often goes overboard with their tactics. If they understood that the vast majority of people don't care for a vegan lifestyle, and focused more on outlandish acts of animal cruelty, they would get a lot more support.

Boycott the circus? Please tell me Munn hasn't become part of the celebrity hoard that when they get any fame they start speaking out on topics they never spoke about before they became famous. I've always tolerated you Munn but I'm this close to tagging in Alison Haislip because she seems genuine and she wants to be here. Not thinking about her next movie extra gig.

Dude, props for promoting something like this. I still think PETA tends to take things to the extreme, but I also think circuses have definitely been abusive towards the animals they use in their shows, and it's really quite horrible.
