Yes, we know it's Star Wars Week on AOTS, but Star Wars without Star Trek would be like chocolate without vanilla, like ninjas without pirates, like...you get the picture. So, here's some cool Star Trek news for you. This past weekend, Mr. Spock returned to Vulcan, and there was a great ceremony.
Let me elaborate. Leonard Nimoy was present this weekend at a dedication in his honor in Vulcan, Canada, a town in Alberta, for the Calgary Comic and Entertainment Expo. While there, he was given the key to the city, as well as transporter coordinates, in case he ever wants to get there from space, as well as leaving behind his famous "live long and prosper" handprint. There was also a bronze bust of Mr. Spock commissioned for the occasion. A fine time was had by all, even by Mr. Spock, who marked the occasion with the raising of an eyebrow.
