Most of you are Star Wars fans, we know that. We also know that since you were a kid you probably dreamed about wielding a lightsaber or piloting an X-Wing. Though it’s now possible to buy a lightsaber, that whole “fly an X-Wing” thing is still an impossibility, or so we thought.
Last week, a couple of dedicated Jedi down in San Diego attempted to make their dream of flying an X-Wing into a reality. Unfortunately, the thing exploded in mid-air (the explosion was still pretty cool), but that didn’t spoil anyone’s nerd fun.
We were on hand for what turned out not to be the next breakthrough in aeronautics, but instead ended up being a good time anyway. Catch it today, for then and only then, will The Force be with you.

I was out in the desert when this thing took off. The report is right on with the thrills that surrounded a day full of launches. Only NASA or some other BIG Empire like Organization could top this show, and the bargin price tag. Somebody needs to pay these guys to do this on a regular basis.
