As technology continues to increase for peronal protection, the needs and uses of such must be remembered.
What does a stun gun have to look like a cell phone for, and an old, out of date one at that? The sight of a stun gun would probably make a great detterant to most of the would-be assaulters out there.
The best defense is not a weapon, but knowledge, know where you are, what is around you, and what you would do in an emergency situation. If you stay out of areas where problems like this occur, then there is no need for such weapons.
