Is Technology Going to Hell?

Timmy, I knew the day would come when we would have to have this conversation. Back when you were five and your Nano died, your father and I told you that it went off to "iPod Heaven" and that this was like "Doggy Heaven" in that there was a big farm where all the Nanos, 30 Gigs and Shuffles co-existed peacefully for all of eternity.

Unfortunately, you're 5-and-a-half now, so I can tell you the truth. There is no "iPod Heaven." Your father and I told you that so you wouldn't cry, but now that you've witnessed your Dell laptop explode right infront of your tender little eyes, it's time to know the truth.

All technology is going to hell, Timmy! It's damned for all eternity to burn in the firery furnace of Satan's living room...

Wait, what? That's not what they meant when they said The Loop tonight was going to talk about whether or not technology was going to hell?

Oh crap.

No way, technology has been feeding my cravings for games ever since Super Nintendo. Making the games more graphical only make my wallat hoan for more and more performance hardware. But that's just my 2cents.

I think that consle and pc develpoers do not test their products because its just cheaper to make an ok one and replace it when it breaks rather then test it thoroughly. Most major pc brands will just have you send it back or they will send you the replacement parts which sucks because it shouldn't break in the first place. Old consoles usually went through better testing bc its harder to just replace a piece when it dies but the new consoles arent like that anymore my original NES still works and can run it for about 5 days straight, my laptop can't do that.

I really think that console developers and computer makers just need to take time and test what they are putting in their products before they mass produce them and sell them to unknowing customers
