We're all familiar with viral marketing: Those little flash games or movies that are super-fun...until you find out they're stealth advertisments. Tonight on The Loop, we're taking a look at the trend of hidden commercials on the net with the help of experts. Real, live experts!
Joining us are Ben Poken, the editor of consumer site the consumerist blog, Jordan Weisman of 42 Entertainment who created the I Love Bees ARG the internet was so het up about a few years ago, and Keith Richman, CEO of viral video site Break.com.
The panel was pretty unanimous that the most important thing about viral ads is compelling content.

I have to say, you've been doing a fairly good job with some of these The Loop topics. My only complaint is that you've missed a lot of obvious or critical points in some of the debates, but overall you've managed to make The Loop one of the few parts of your show I can watch with a straight face. And on ocasion, not DVR skip past.
Also, I love it when moderation breaks down and they start yelling. Just so long as it gets under control in at most 8 seconds.
