To coincide with her appearance on today's Mash-up show, here's the great  Blair Butler's   "better late than never" Fresh Ink wrap-up. As alway, you should listen to Blair when she tells you about comics because Science has proven her opinions have never been wrong...ever.

DC Universe: The Stories of Alan Moore – Originally released in 2003 as “Across the Universe,” this anthology has  been reprinted – and two of Alan Moore’s best stories are finally included. It seems kind of crazy that they were omitted from the first printing, ‘cause, really, they’re the main reason to buy this book. To contextualize, if you didn’t already know, Alan Moore, the legendary author of “Watchmen” and “V for Vendetta,” penned a series of backup stories for DC Comics in the 80’s. These tales featured everyone from the Green Arrow  to the Green Lantern Corp, and brought his dark vision to some of the DCU’s low-profile characters. Like The Vigilante – who appears to be fighting crime in a ski suit. This book collects some of Moore’s best work at DC (excluding his run on “Swamp Thing”), most notably the two-part Superman storyline “Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow.”  Forget about that stupid “Death of Superman” publicity stunt DC pulled in the 90’s – this tale of the Man of Steel’s demise is one for the ages. Oh, and did I mention that this book contains what is arguably the best Joker story of all time, “Batman: The Killing Joke.” Buy it now.
The Verdict: BUY

Goddess? Who are we kidding?
Lack of acne does not a goddess make AOTS.

That was a great segment. I loved the Blade guy.

Anytime I see a skit like this I think of Triumph and the Star Wars nerds.

That was once of the funniest segments.
Good job to all who worked on it!

Blair Butler is a goddess don't question it. That segment was hilarious. She's funny, beautiful and loves comic books, what more can you ask for?!?

Blair Butler is a "goddess" in her own right! AND probably a thousand times better than anyone that "johnnycashak" will ever be with!

She is beautiful, but my old best friend was named Blair and he was a guy... O.o?

I think Blair Butler is amazing. It was a pretty funny segment. I think I've yet to see any sort of praise for the show from johnnycashak. Actually I'm pretty sure I've only seen negative comments. Do you even like this show?

i just thought it was cool that she used some of her comedic humor in one of her segments. comic on comics.

Grey, my lady and her modeling portfolio both disagree with you but that was cute. She doesn't like the scifi crap I am into and we usually wind up watching the OC instead, and call me whipped for saying so, but Blair hasn't got jack on my girl. Besides, being a goddess doesn't necessarily mean being beautiful if you really want to argue the point.

Why didn't she kick Bryan Singer in the nuts for handing over the X-Men movies to captain douchenozzle?
