Rip your DVDs, save out some bitmaps, and stitch 'em together with some free software. Instant movietastic panorama! Just use the PT GUI -- which happens to be a GUI for Panorama Tools.

For info on Panorama Tools, just visit PTFAQ.org.

Then head over to PTGUI.com to download the tools, and be sure to check out the site's tutorial for how-to examples.

Want to see what these panoramas look like? Take a gander at this or this.

You could go to a repographics place, like where contractors and builders get their building plans/blueprints.

That was going to be my question, too.

I haven't been to any kind of printing shop in recent years, but I have never seen anything like that poster, aside from some wall-mounted prints that used to hang in a record store that I used to work at.

If they are similar, then it would be a matte plastic sheet attached to a high-density foamcore backing, but I have no idea where to get something like that done.

I would LOVE to know where I could go to get something printed up like that.

Did they get that printed at Kinko's or something, because it looked beautiful...how much would printing a poster like that cost at a place like Kinko's?
