Die Hard 5 Locks Down Title And Release Date

It appears that when Bruce Willis' John McClane conveniently finds himself in the wrong place and wrong time once again, the film will be titled A Good Day To Die Hard.

Indeed, the fifth Die Hard movie has not only selected its title, it is also confirmed for release on February 14, 2013. (Since Bruce Willis blowing s**t up is the perfect romantic outing for the Hershey and Hallmark-concocted holiday tentpole.)

How will the film fare among the slew of romcoms on the most commercially-amorous of release dates?

Top 5 Failed Netflix Ideas

Goodbye, Qwikster! Netflix announced today that they were ending their plans to split their DVD by mail option as a separate service called Qwikster. On their blog, CEO Reed Hastings wrote,

"It is clear that for many of our members two websites would make things more difficult, so we are going to keep Netflix as one place to go for streaming and DVDs. This means no change: one website, one account, one password… in other words, no Qwikster."

It took this popular DVD rental company almost a month to realize that maybe creating two separate services for customers who like to use both might be a bad idea? From shutting down their Community feature to the price increases and plans to take away the profile features (though they dropped that idea), it seems like Netflix is good at coming up with bad ideas.

So what's in store for Netflix in the coming years? We compiled our best "bad ideas" for the company to try next:

Arnold Schwarzenegger, actor extraordinaire and former California governor, has reportedly ordered at least three bronze statues of himself. The statues are "larger than life" and feature the man from his bodybuilding days.

We're kind of disappointed that Schwarzenegger decided to focus on his pre-Hollywood blockbuster movie days. Why focus on bodybuilding when there are so many other roles to preserve in bronze forever? Here are our ideas of what Arnold should order in statue form next time.

Okay, so it isn't really him, but it's pretty much spot-on with what we would have gotten.

Besides, there's got to be some generic Disney/Pixar animated feature with wise-cracking anthropomorphic dung beetles that could use this track.

How To Fix Facebook

The new Facebook layout debuted sometime last night--at least, that's what I'm guessing by the amount of people complaining on my Feed. I'm not a big fan of the new features and thankfully, Sam Spratt came up with a handy chart on how to make it better.

Facebook, are you listening? Please. Kill that side feed column with fire NOW.

Forget the upcoming Pan Am television show. Jackie Brown made being a flight attendant look cool while Christina Ricci was still using Clearasil. Actually, for all I know, she might still use it. But regardless, Pam Grier's Jackie Brown courtesy of Quentin Tarantino, brings the cool to Blu-ray for the first time on October 4.

Jackie Brown joins Pulp Fiction, also out on that same day. A Tarantino double-feature in high def with brand-new bonus features?? Very cherry.
