The Amazing Spider-Man Online Trailer Is Here!

It's a big day for Peter Parker. The new online trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man, starring Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, and Rhys Ifans, is here! Directed by Marc Webb, this new film tells a different side of Peter Parker's life, based on the Marvel comic book by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko.

Watch the new trailer below:

Here's the official synopsis:

The Amazing Spider-Man is the story of Peter Parker (Garfield), an outcast high schooler who was abandoned by his parents as a boy, leaving him to be raised by his Uncle Ben (Sheen) and Aunt May (Field).  Like most teenagers, Peter is trying to figure out who he is and how he got to be the person he is today.  Peter is also finding his way with his first high school crush, Gwen Stacy (Stone), and together, they struggle with love, commitment, and secrets.  As Peter discovers a mysterious briefcase that belonged to his father, he begins a quest to understand his parents’ disappearance – leading him directly to Oscorp and the lab of Dr. Curt Connors (Ifans), his father’s former partner.  As Spider-Man is set on a collision course with Connors’ alter-ego, The Lizard, Peter will make life-altering choices to use his powers and shape his destiny to become a hero.

The Amazing Spider-Man open in theaters everywhere in 3D on July 3, 2012.

Harry, Ron, And Hermione Found In Real Life

Picture day at real life Hogwarts isn't quite the spectacle of magic and majesty as the books and movies would have you believe. They just herd them like cattle onto some bleachers while a joyless photographer who's clearly not paid by the hour snaps them out quick.

Iron Man 3: Possible Details On Mandarin

Will Iron Man finally be facing off with the Joker to his proverbial Batman? Possibly...sort of.

The recent casting of Ben Kingsley fueled speculation that he would be playing Iron Man's signature villain in Mandarin. However, the character seems to have thrown a curveball to the Iron Man 3 creative team, notably to director, Shane Black, who has gone on record to call the Chinese warlord who wields ten powerful rings a "racist character."

It seemed to leave the character in an ambiguous funk. However, when the casting of actor, Andy Lau hit, a critical clue may have been given to fans about where Kingsely's character fits in the puzzle.

G.I. Joe Retaliation: New Trailer Goes Rogue

A brand new trailer for G.I. Joe: Retaliation has hit, highlighting the sequel's explosive, ninja-riffic, more old-school, fan-friendly approach to the film franchise.

Channing Tatum returns as chisel-jawed leading man, Duke, but he may be taking a backseat in the alpha male department to Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's heavy-machine-gun-toting Roadblock. Also, the sagely, grizzled, Joe Colton played by Bruce Willis won't sit back and let them hog the testosterone spotlight, either.

Now, instead of running through the streets of Paris in "Accelerator Suits," they're running from their own government after the evil organization, Cobra has infiltrated the White House, making the Joe team public enemy number one in the world.

Check out the trailer below.

Seems Like A Legit Science Book

This alternate universe version of R. Bruce Hoadley's book, Identifying Wood starts off as a reasonable study of THC's effect on receptors of the brain connected with mood, using "empirical methods."

However, by chapter two, it quickly devolves to a vague conspiracy study about the alleged connection of the JFK assasination to the rise of diet soda.

Rocky Potter

All his life, this self-taught wizard never got a break...until a million-to-one shot to duel Voldemort fell into his lap.

They fought, then became friends before some juiced-up Russian beat Voldy to death in the ring, which he then avenged. Pretty much standard stuff at Mighty Mick's Gym of Wizard Schooling.

Also, much like the real Rocky Balboa and Harry Potter, he nailed his best friend's sister.
