Transformers: Dark Of The Moon TV Spot

"Years from now, they're gonna ask us; where were you when they took over the planet?"

Oh, yeah, s**t's getting real serious, now! Ka-boom! Bam! Crash! -- Cue the hot babe! We got another glimpse at Transformers: Dark of the Moon over the weekend when a new quickie trailer surfaced during the Daytona 500 broadcast. Perhaps a perfect fit for an event where folks get into expensive racing machines laden with corporate sponsors and attempt to drive left for extended periods of time while causing wreckage and chaos, director Michael Bay's third, and in all likelihood, last Transformers film got a bit of an upgrade from the recent Super Bowl spot: This time, we can hear the giant robots smashing our world like their used beer can.

What Else Did The Groundhog See?

What Else Did The Groundhog See?

Punxsutawney Phil, the world's official Groundhog Day groundhog, emerged from his hole this morning, and didn't see his shadow, which means that Spring is right around the corner! However, we have it on good authority that Phil has other talents  besides predicting the weather, and is, in fact, a seer. So, using our underground hotline, we asked him about what else he saw when he crawled out this cold morning in Pennsylvania, and you might be shocked at some of the headlines he predicts for 2011.

1. Philadelphia Eagles Win Super Bowl XLV, Beating Both the Packers AND the Steelers - In what will be a groundbreaking result to the big game, the Philadelphia Eagles will invade the field in Dallas this Sunday, having lay in wait since the Wild Card round of the playoffs, to win Super Bowl XLV. While the Packers and Steelers, depleted from having played all the way through the playoffs, try and fend off the Eagle offensive and defensive lines, game MVP Michael Vick will have a field day, securing the win for Philly.

Forget CES, Sagging Pants Invention Will Revolutionize Universe

Let's face it. As youths of the 21st Century, we like to wear our pants around our ankles. It's just a fact of life. However, unless you're a homeless person or a pop star, it can be unseemly to be walking the streets with your pants on the ground. That's what makes Andrew Lewis, an inventor from Harlem, the odds-on favorite to take the Nobel Peace Prize in 2011, with his invention that allows you to wear the fashionable sag, without looking like an idiot.

The invention, called "Subs," functions a little like suspenders and a garter belt combined, allowing you to show the world your boxers without having to keep pulling them up. "What?" I can year you saying right now, "don't they have a belt for just such a purpose?" Silly, silly reader. Belts keep your pants around your waist. What is this, the 1890's? Get with the times, satchmo. You're no one who's anyone without showing everyone what choice you make in underwear on a daily basis!

So, we might be looking toward the future with this week's CES 2011 coverage, with talk of robots and lasers and all of that useless crap, but this, friends, this invention is the real news of the new decade, and we're going to have to go a long way to top it.
