What's really cool is that these Star Wars coins are legal tender, so you can slap down a Chewbacca, Yoda or Han Solo and get a drink at any cantina on Mos Eisley.

It's a surprising move, considering that the narrative in the last bit of significant news we heard about the film said that it was already greenlit, ready to film in March, and was closing in on Garrett Hedlund of Tron: Legacy to star as main character, Kaneda. The Dark Knight Rises: Bane's Dialogue Fixed

UPDATE: This story has been effectively shot down and Collider has issued an apology.

Reportedly, projectionists were given new audio for the 6 minute prologue shown with the IMAX version of Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol, improving Bane's dialogue by "40-50%."

So, has Batman's villainous vertebra-snapper truly received a post-production elocution injection?

After just releasing the highly-anticipated first trailer, The Hobbit production closes out the year 2011 with Christmas wishes, along with their latest behind-the-scenes production video.

This, the fifth such video so far, details the massive undertaking of physically moving the entire production from the confines of a studio green screen to the majestic New Zealand countryside which provided The Lord of the Rings trilogy all of those unforgettable exterior shots.

It definitely drives home just how much has gone into making these films come alive.

Like many of us, the Transformers celebrate the most wonderful time of the year by giving gifts, decorating the tree and fist fighting with those closest to them.

Cosplayers rejoice, because someone has created a functional mask based on Rorschach's costume from The Watchmen! Now, you too can look like a noir, comic book badass. Your Comic-Con experience is going to rock so hard next year!
