The Feed

Attack of the Staff: Sean Poole, Production AssistantHometown: The small town of Snohomish, WA.
Position: Production Assistant
Favorite Season: My favorite season is the beginning of fall, because it’s still sunny outside and all the best TV shows start back up again.
Least Favorite Nickname: A former intern gave me the nickname “Seanald” once upon a time and I can’t stand it, haha.

What do you do on AOTS?

My favorite question from any producer is, “Are you busy right now,” because as a PA, I am always busy. I’m constantly running around doing something, whether it’s feeding the hosts, being in ATN comedy bits, grabbing videos from the web, directing interns, shooting video for segments or writing the occasional Attack This script from time to time.

What is your favorite moment from the show?

I always crack up when the show goes off the tracks. As one of the few live television shows left, AOTS really shines when it messes up. When we accidentally aired Masterpiece Theatre at the beginning of the show or when we flashed a quick second of Vin Diesel holding a shot gun in the middle of an ATN comedy. I think that’s pure hilarity!

Jason

Whenever Jason Mewes (one half of Jay and Silent Bob) shows up, you know good times are about to be had. Case in point, today's Feed with Sara Underwood. It's probably the most riotously funny newscast in Feed history. At least, that's how we see it, and that assessment seems to be corroborated by our photo gallery of Jason Mewes and Sara Underwood. Pics don't lie.

Deadpool Movie: Ryan Reynolds Gives An Update

The Deadpool movie is still happening. -- At least as far as star Ryan Reynolds is concerned. Having already appeared in X-Men Origins: Wolverine as Wade Wilson, the highly-skilled mutant assassin who would eventually become the disfigured, mask-wearing Merc with a mouth, Reynolds' status with the project still remained uncertain. After news came that he was already locked-in for a Green Lantern sequel, it looked like scheduling was keeping him off the would-be follow-up. (With possibly a third also in the works, depending on this June's performance of the first Lantern film.) Thus, Deadpool has found itself in an unwanted state of inertia, much to the chagrin of fans. However, in an interview with Empire, Reynolds would reiterate his commitment to getting the film made, and assured fans that he definitely wants the gig. He's made similar shows of good faith over the last few years, but do check out what he had to say recently.

The Secret Ingredient in Coca-Cola's Recipe

This past weekend, NPR's This American Life revealed one of the nation's most highly guarded secrets: the original recipe to Coca-Cola. According to Ira Glass, the recipe--which has reportedly been locked away in a safe since the late 1800's--was published in an article from a 1979 issue of the Atlanta Journal Constitution and contains ingredients like lime juice, caramel, nutmeg and coriander.

So is anyone else super disappointed like me? Everyone knows how secret the Coca-Cola recipe is but how come there's nothing crazy and strange on the list to explain the soda's delicious and addicting taste? It can only mean that this "secret recipe" is totally wrong. There has to be that one missing magical ingredient (and no, we're not talking about cocaine), so check out our ideas of what this piece could be.
